Data collection
When you subscribe to either newsletter, your email address is stored by Beehiiv, the platform we use to distribute our emails. Beehiiv may also collect standard engagement data — whether an email was opened, whether a link was clicked — which we use only to understand what's working editorially. See Beehiiv's privacy policy for full details on how they handle subscriber data.
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit readtheroom.news, GitHub's servers log standard request data including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This is governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement. We don't control or access this data directly.
Our commitments
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not run tracking pixels beyond what Beehiiv includes by default in newsletter emails.
Subscriber rights
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. Click it and you're off the list — no confirmation emails, no re-enrollment. If you want your data removed from Beehiiv entirely, email us and we'll submit the request on your behalf.
